These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Chordrift, a composing companion app provided by Hakaru Fujii ("the author"). By using this app, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
1. Scope of use
- —Free to use for both personal and commercial purposes.
- —Chord progressions you select or create using this app may be used freely for personal or commercial productions. Chord progressions themselves are not subject to copyright, so there are no restrictions on using, publishing, or selling music that uses them.
- —The instrument samples used by this app (Salamander Grand Piano, FluidR3_GM, etc.) are each covered by their own licenses. See theLicenses & Creditspage for details.
2. Prohibited actions
- —Modifying, decompiling, or reverse-engineering this app
- —Extracting or redistributing the instrument sample files used by this app individually (each sample's own license terms apply separately)
- —Placing excessive load on the service through automated tools or excessive access
- —Using the app for any purpose that violates law or public order and morals
3. Disclaimer
This app is developed and provided by an independent freelance author as a personal project. Please note the following in advance.
- —No guarantee is made regarding the accuracy, continuous operation, or fitness for a particular purpose of any feature.
- —The author is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this app.
- —Features may be added, changed, or discontinued without notice.
- —Some features may not work depending on your browser or OS version.
4. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.
